TLC Prep's goal is to create a nurturing, rigorous and spiritual environment - encouraging children to "go above and beyond" in their academic, personal, and spiritual experiences.

What Our School Offers Academically

We have teachers that specialize in Music, Etiquette, Physical Education, Health, Speech, Languages, & Newsletter writing and editing.

Scholarship funds are available.

Our scholarship fund allows many children to attend our school who would not

otherwise be able to.

Tree of Life Christian Preparatory School is accredited by the Adventist Accrediting Association (Potomac Conference) whose accreditation process has been approved by the Virginia Council for Private Education as authorized by the Virginia State Board of Education.

Our School Mission:

The Tree of Life Christian Preparatory School seeks to prepare young minds for citizenship here on earth and for eternity. We place value on both a child's academic accomplishments and their spiritual growth.

The school believes that academic excellence and Christ-like behavior results from outstanding teachers with Christian standards, small classrooms, and an imaginative, individualized curriculum.

We feel strongly that the home, the church, and the school form a partnership to accomplish these goals. Children who embrace opportunities with enthusiasm, a teacher who nurtures their growth, and parents and church members who support the many facets of school life join to form the family that is the Tree of Life Christian Preparatory School.

and who will be teaching certain specialty classes this year.

(Mrs. Lafferty’s emphasis is fitness and the Presidential Physical Fitness program -

and teaches on Fridays)

One day a week Pastor Gregory teaches Bible class at TLC. This provides a wonderful opportunity for our children to ask in-depth questions, as well as building a stronger bond with their church family.

The school has also been blessed with other parents and volunteers who help out in the classrooms and the front office. God has truly poured out His blessings on TLC Prep, and we are continually thankful for His benevolence.
