About Our Pastor
Pastor Gregory was the first to become a Christian in his family. At first he joined the Baptist church, and then a few years later he learned about, and embraced the Adventist message, and was baptized into the Seventh-day Adventist church. After a few more years, his whole family was converted.
Pastor Gregory holds a BA in Music from the Armenian State Pedagogical Institute. He also has an MA in religion, a M.Div. equivalent, and is currently working on his PhD in Old Testament and Biblical Hebrew from Andrews University.
Pastor Gregory has been a Youth Leader, a Deacon, an Elder, an Associate Pastor, and a Pastor. He served as Chairman of the Education Department, and as Ministerial Secretary, among other offices, for the Volga-Ural Conference in Russia. He was also Chairperson for the Euro-Asia Division, and Senior Pastor at the Immanuel SDA Church in Canada.
Pastor Gregory is married to Yelizaveta (Liza), who is continuing her Nursing career at Germanna Community college in Locust Grove, VA.
They have two daughters. Maria, the oldest, is an Emergency Care physician, and presently living in Michigan.
Their younger daughter, Tsovinar (Tsovic), has also completed medical school at the Loma Linda School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California, and is Presently working on her fellowship at the University of Michigan Medical School.
Their two sons are Greg, who is working on his Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota, and Samuel, a student at Southern University.
