The Community Services Center is alive and active in our Fredericksburg community, and is a very important part of our church outreach program.

 

The Lord tells us in Matthew 25: 35-36; 40:

"For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was Thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me;

And the King will answer and say to them, Assuredly, I say to you in as much as you did it to one of  the least of My brethren, you did it to Me".

 

This is what the Fredericksburg Seventh day Adventist Church’s

out-reach program at the Community Center is all about.

 

We need your help!

We are in need of more people to volunteer at the center.

If you want to witness for Christ, this is one of the best places to be a witness. 

 

If you are retired, and would be interested in helping out at the Center, volunteering just one day a month that would be a help. For those of you who may not be retired, you can still help by volunteering one Sunday every two or three months.

 

 The Community Center is sponsored by the Seventh- day Adventist Church. 

All donated items are sold to help the poor in our city.

 

Please Note that daily services of assistance with rent, electric, water and food are given  to the community. 

 

The witnessing alone is worth all the time and effort that goes into keeping the Center operating. 

 

This is a totally volunteer, non-profit making endeavor that we provide. 

 

We take every opportunity to acquaint everyone who enters our doors with Jesus, sharing about our church, where it is located and what we believe.

 

Most importantly prayer is offered to everyone and shared with all those willing to accept it.

 

Operating hours are:  

Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sundays 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

 

Your food donations would be greatly appreciated as would donations of furniture and house wares.  These are donated for resale at the Center;  we count on them and so do the people who come into the Center. 

 

I pray that you will make this a matter of prayerful consideration as you think about a way of making a difference in our community all to God's glory.
